RFID Keycard Locks

Wave goodbye to traditional keys with contactless keycard locks. Built to last and meeting or exceeding all statutory safety standards, our keycard locks are self-contained so require no external wiring. The end user can also rest assured that, in the case of an emergency, the door can be opened from inside at all times.

Using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, the card is simply placed in the proximity of the lock rather than being swiped or inserted.

Benefits of RFID Locks

  • Virtually unlimited lifespan of keycards. Durable construction, and no swiping means no wear and tear of the card surface.
  • No worries about cards being de-magnetised and rendered useless by mobile phones.
  • High capacity data storage means cards can be configured precisely. Users can be granted access to different areas at different times (e.g. a hotel gym which only opens from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
  • A full lock audit trail means that locks cannot be accessed without being recorded on the system. This can be important for controlling movements of staff and contractors.

As well as RFID keycards we also offer key fobs and wristbands. They work in the same way as our standard keycards.
